About ‘Spring field - Pieterpad’ by Wietske Westra

This work is part of my series Spring – Pieterpad, inspired by my walks along the Pieterpad. While walking through the countryside, small changes often catch my eye: the light on the fields, the colours of the ground and the clouds slowly moving across the sky.

In this image, you see a rolling field under a broad spring sky. The purple tones in the land gently transition into green and blue, while a line of trees on the horizon borders the landscape. Light clouds float through the air above the field.

The work is made with chalk. The colours lie in soft layers on top of each other and the structure of the chalk remains visible, giving the landscape a light and dreamy appearance. For me, this work is about space and tranquillity. About a moment during a walk when you pause for a moment and quietly take in the landscape. In an interior, this work creates a soft and calm atmosphere.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
