I found this snowdrop in a small but beautiful wood. The only thing that was a bit problematic was the messy background with all the trees and branches. So I had to found a way to isolate the little flower. I got down to the ground and pointed my camera upwards, changing the messy background for a calm piece of sky.
I played with the light in this photo because the original picture was too dark for a spring look. So I brightened the photo and give it some color. To me, the purple hue makes for the spring feeling that I associate with snowdrops.
