About ‘Smiling old Javanese man’ by Anges van der Logt

An old Javanese man in a village not far from Magelang in Central Java, Indonesia. This man is probably more than 90 years old. Often these old people (in Java) do not know their exact age, as they used to use the Javanese calendar which was based on the phase of the moon (not the phase of the sun as our calendar is now).
