Part 2 of little treasures. This photo is landscape, with a slightly different colour processing to bring out the feel of the little pines even more. It makes the image a bit warmer and more colourful.
When I was actually on my way back home with my camere late in the morning I stopped. I saw the small pines standing happily and colourfully among the big giants.
It gave me a smile and took the camera out of the bag again. Because of the different contrasts of dark and light and warm and cold, this photo still gives me a smile. The feeling of sometimes being allowed to look away, to daydream, to lose yourself in something that makes you feel good. And those little pines, dancing among the giants, grateful for the light and unafraid to be small. Confidently standing there at the edge of the forest, they gave me a smile.
