Simple rural vibe: Staying together until we're blown out

by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photo: "Simple country atmosphere: Stay together until we are blown out" is a photo of two fluff balls of common dandelions.
These fluff balls are already fully opened and the fluffy flowers are ready and waiting for the wind, to spread the seeds attached to the fluffy flowers this way. A calm and simple image. But next to that also of sign of transience, the final stage of these two fluff balls has arrived, a touch of wind and it is done.
An eye-catcher that exudes a serene and natural atmosphere while also telling a story about love and impermanence. When taking this picture, I chose a depth-of-field that was chosen so that the background is almost even and the front fluff of both dandelions is sharp. This creates a sense of depth in the work, but at the same time it also adds even more calmness to the photo.
This photo can hang beautifully as wall decoration in, for example, the bedroom, dining room, hall or just above the sofa! (Of course also beautiful in business locations such as the waiting room or meeting room)
