About ‘Silent cascade’ by Robert Hoiss

A gentle waterfall makes its way down between rough rock formations.

The water glides in fine streams over the smooth stones and collects in a calm, clear pool. Scattered autumn leaves lie scattered on the rocks, a silent testimony to the past season.

The long exposure gives the water a silky, almost mystical character, while the dark rocks with their moss-covered surfaces create a charming contrast.

I have been travelling near and far as a nature photographer for a good 20 years, but I also photograph sports (zwengs da Äktschn) and other events.

I have been a full member of the GDT (Society for Nature Photography) since 2012.

"Writing with light" is how I want my photography to be understood, regardless of whether it is landscapes, people or animals. An artistic exploration of the subject instead of just photographing it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
