About ‘Silence in stripes’ by Cobi de Jong

A moment of tranquillity, captured in contrast. In this minimalist portrait, we see only the back of a figure, draped in a rhythmic pattern of black and white stripes. The short, light hair and the soft lines of the neck convey a sense of both vulnerability and anonymity.
