Sophie Taeuber-Arp (1889-1943) was a Swiss artist known for her contributions to the Dada movement and Constructivist art. She worked in various media, including painting, sculpture, textile art and architecture. Taeuber-Arp was also an important figure in the Swiss art scene of the 1920s and 1930s and a pioneer in promoting abstraction and integrating art into public spaces. Her work continues to influence art history and contemporary art to this day.
