Those who think of Zakynthos, Greece, generally think sun, sea, beach. Although the sea and beach go nowhere in winter, the weather is a bit different. Lots of wind, grey skies and cold winter days. But this actually gives the island a unique atmosphere. The sea beats vigorously against the cliffs and renting a boat is out of the question. You will have to experience the coast from the land, where you will be treated to a beautiful spectacle of Mother Nature. Here you can see an example of the powerful sea beating up against the cliffs in the north of the island on a windy day.
