During a cycling holiday, I came across these Scottish Highlanders in De Biesbosch. Signs advised not to come closer than 25 metres.
With a little zoom lens this is easy to do but as soon as I got a little too close they took off.
I could reasonably follow them until the part where there was water and I couldn't go any further without getting my feet wet.
But my patience was rewarded.
They stayed here nicely to let the calves drink. This made for a nice balanced composition.
