Scottish Highlander painted in a contemporary expressive abstract painting style. The animal is decked out on the canvas in a sea of different colors with the dominant color being blue which is very present. This reflects a bit of a cool aura with additional added other colors this is brought back into balance. The animal with its beautiful strands of fur and its mysterious look with overhanging hairs shines with presence on this work of art. A variety of painting techniques have been used in this painting to create an airy, fluid background combined with the use of the palette knife to create the abstract, figurative image of the Scottish Bovine. I often get inspired by an animal so I pick up the brush, put the frame down and start creating the composition to make a painting. During the painting I forget everything around me and get fascinated by the animal and then paint it in my style on the canvas and hope that other people can also enjoy it when it hangs in their living room interior.
