About ‘Scotland - Eilean Donan Castle’ by Ronald Harmsen

Located on an island, Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most visited sights in the Scottish Highlands. The island has been inhabited since the sixth century, but the first castle was not built until the mid-13th century. Since then, at least four different versions of the castle have been built and rebuilt over the centuries.
