Photojournalist Paul Teixeira (1965) is Portuguese/Spanish by birth, but he currently works and lives near Amsterdam, the capital of The Netherlands. Teixeira started in the mid 1980 's as a freelance photojournalist in The Netherlands, working for Dutch Newspapers and magazines, covering a variety of subjects: from squatter riots and other violent outbursts to documentary series on Pope John Paul II and senior citizens.
