The coastal path near the small town of Porthgain in Wales, UK offers some hidden treasures in the form of ruins. There used to be many red brick buildings from the time Porthgain had some serious industrial quarrying activity. It's quite fun to walk between those ruins and fantasize about the life people must have lead so long ago. One things is for sure, the view must have been magnificent.
