From the bridge (also known as the whoreline) between Katendrecht (Deliplein) and Wilhelminapier (Kop van Zuid), you have a great view of the skyline and, at the same time, the new Maas.
Rotterdam is steadily building a colourful skyline both on the city centre side along the Boompjes and here around Kop van Zuid.
This makes Rotterdammers proud because reconstruction has continued with renewal, innovation and a modern look. Old residential and industrial areas are being put to good use again.
Notable buildings are: Montevideo, Maastoren, New Orleans, Theater LantarenVenster, De Rotterdam, Boston and Seattle.
In the background flaunts the New Luxor, the Maastoren, the Gerechtsgebouw and InHolland, among others.
Work is currently underway to expand destinations on the water itself! The former pilot boat Castor was already a nice addition but it gets even better. New is the Floating office.
