About ‘Rotterdam, De Hef’ by Ad Jekel
De Hef, or, Koningshavenbrug. De Hef is the popular name of the Koningshavenbrug, a railway lift bridge over Koningshaven in the Dutch city of Rotterdam that has been decommissioned for rail traffic since 24 September 1993. The bridge formed part of the Breda-Rotterdam railway line, and is now a national monument.
