About ‘Robur in spring’ by Schaeffers Visuelen
This was originally a pencil drawing of a sacred English oak, once known as ‘Robur’ in reference to its strong wood.
The drawing has been scanned in high resolution – the pencil strokes and paper texture are still visible – and digitally enhanced to show the leaves budding in spring.
