With a total height of 240 meters, the Rheinturm is Düsseldorf's tallest building. The tower is a dominant presence in the Düsseldorf skyline, on the banks of the Rhine, and is among Düsseldorf's most photographed buildings. The Rheinturm has several functions. It is a broadcasting tower and a tourist attraction. With the elevator you can go up at lightning speed. You can get off at both 168 and 172 meters. At 168 meters is the observation deck and bar. It is an enclosed observation deck with angled glass panels, giving you a wide view of everything below the tower and beyond. One floor up is a restaurant. This restaurant rotates around its axis starting at noon. In one hour, the restaurant rotates a full 360 degrees. From below, the tower is impressive and this photo clearly shows the height.
