About ‘Reflections 1’ by Els van Luijk Beeld op Beeld

All my life I have been interested in shapes and colours. After closing my shop selling furniture and home accessories, 'de verwondering' (the wonder), I went in search of a new creative challenge. I quickly became fascinated by photography and began to explore it in depth. I started cautiously by experimenting on my own, and later took it more seriously by taking classes at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. Slowly but surely, I developed my own style, playing with reality to create an alienating effect. A new reality that sometimes seems dark but often conjures up a glimmer of light. In recent years, my way of looking at things has changed and I have started to experiment more, for example by using reflections in windows and water. This photo is an example of that. To the viewers: Marvel and, above all, enjoy a different reality.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
