A small group of red deer in the winter period of February 2020 on De Hoge Veluwe. During a walk you will come face to face with these impressive animals. Something I was hoping for, of course.
In a totally different atmosphere than during the rutting season when you are standing by the side of the road with dozens of other photographers (not seen me!).
This was special, quiet and impressive.
The animals saw me and I saw them and we didn't disturb each other. I took my pictures and then continued on my way. They did the same thing.
