About the artwork

The peacock is a symbol of a vibrant life, of showing off what you have and reaping the rewards of your talents. However, if we look closely at the peacock, we see that in addition to its appearance, it lacks the skills that characterize other birds.
In fact, the peacock's appearance is its main asset for survival. Research shows that the more heavily plumed a peacock is, the better it can intimidate potential predators. Once the predator sees through the many eyes on its tail, the peacock can do little to protect itself.
This is a stark reminder that one's talents cannot take him far. While it is true that natural talent is meritorious, one must develop further if one is to reach the higher rungs of the ladder of life.
However, the peacock is not just a warning. When the peacock makes its appearance in your life, it also reminds you not to take yourself too seriously. Nothing about ourselves is so important in the big tapestry of life that we should give it so much weight. The peacock favors the "what will be, will be" view.
In the end, all the peacock cares about is behaving with dignity. This is another lesson for us, because no matter what problems life throws at us, the least we can do is to get ourselves out of them with dignity.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
