"I am Roermond" One of the finest remnants of Romanesque architecture in the Netherlands is the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Munsterkerk on Munsterplein in Roermond. The church was built in the early 13th century and rebuilt and restored at various times. As a result, the western side of the church has Gothic features and the eastern side is built in late Romanesque style.
