About ‘Purple tulips creation’ by Ina Hölzel

Ina Hölzel Photography and image editing The black tulip is still special. Usually it colours to purple. In this digital image edit, I created a new composition using several layers. I lightened the tulips in various shades from purple to pink. Here and there, the shades and processing correspond to a watercolour. I had planted the bulbs in my garden, the dark tulips were a resting point among the colours, a separate sight. Beautiful as a wall decoration on canvas or as a garden poster.

I have been photographing digitally since 2004, before that analogue. I enthusiastically started using photo programmes and made them my own. I edit photos with imagination and pleasure. I make colours, shapes and lines stand out as much as possible. Nature is my main source of inspiration. I like taking pictures of flowers and animals. But architecture and transport are also of interest to me.
