Porta Fiorentina is one of three medieval gateways into Paciano in Umbria, Italy. A popular tourist destination, Paciano is a small medieval walled hill town with narrow streets which only the brave (or locals) dare navigate in a car as the streets are narrow with little room to manoeuvre. The sensible visitor leaves their car in one of the car parks just outside the town walls at the top or bottom of the town. This side view of the entranceshows how the gateway is set between two tall buildings which are part of the town walls containing apartments. There is a small Juliet balcony. There is no entry to the town this way, there is a strict one way system in operation, people can only exit through this archway.
