A MiG-29 fighter jet from the Polish Air Force. The MiG-29, NATO code name: Fulcrum, is a Russian fighter jet, successor to the MiG-23, from the design firm Mikojan. The MiG-29 was built in several versions, including the MiG-29A, the MiG-29UB two-seater and the MiG-29K for the navy. It was exported to 21 countries. When Germany was reunified, MiG-29s from the East German Air Force were incorporated into the air force of reunified Germany. In 2003, 23 were sold to the Polish Air Force. In aerial combat, the MiG-29 proves extremely manoeuvrable. The pilot can also aim missiles with a sight integrated into his pilot's helmet. So the pilot only has to look at the target to aim a missile.
