Typical Dutch polder landscape with grazing cows in the still dewy meadow and a windmill in the background. The photo was taken on an early autumn morning with the sun still low in the sky near the South Holland village of Oud-Alblas, municipality of Molenlanden. The Kooiwijk Mill is a round stone ground-sailer built in the year 1866. The mill, now owned by SIMAV, pumped the polder Noordzijde. The function has since ceased but it is still millable.
