Plitvice, in the heart of Croatia, is known for its waterfalls. The big waterfalls attract the most visitors, but I often find the hidden spots, like this small lake, even more beautiful. It was a challenge to work with a slower shutter speed to achieve the soft effect of the waterfalls because of the moving jetties, but here it worked well. So the photo was taken with a tripod and has a shutter speed of 1 second. I also worked with a polarisation filter to make sure the colours mapped well.
