About the artwork

Located in the heart of the Jordanian desert, Petra, the famous Nabataean city, marvels at its natural shades of red, pink and salmon. Carved directly into the rock, this wonder of the world offers a captivating spectacle every hour of the day, when the light reveals different hues and shades. The main entrance, known as the Siq, is a narrow canyon surrounded by shimmering cliffs, leading to the famous Treasury (Al-Khazneh).
Petra's rock formations bear witness to an exceptional geological phenomenon. The minerals present in the stone give the rock gradations ranging from bright red to golden beige. These natural colours create a perfect harmony with the architectural remains, such as the royal tombs and the monastery (Ad-Deir).
To discover Petra is to plunge into an almost unreal world, where history and nature merge in a symphony of colours. This unique atmosphere attracts visitors from all over the world, fascinated by the city's raw beauty. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
