My first piece of art that I sketched on location (the Binnenwegplein in Rotterdam). The abstract cubistic work is a composition in which I pictured the various people walking on a sunny in the center of Rotterdam. I tried to capture the moves and dynamics which are so typical for a city, people doing their daily things and showing the typical colours for the city.
The work is first sketched by hand and then drawn into 3D software and in the final step rendered to a high resolution image (for the different steps and render of the process, check his website).
Like much of Pat 'Tez' Blooms cubistic and futuristic art-pieces this work breathes a certain cleanness and sharpness without loosing the essence and emotion of the subject.
Pat Bloom (Gouda / Rotterdam) is a transdisciplinary digital artist and grew up in the 90's / 00's with cyberspace, graffiti, street-art, graphic and interactive art.
The next logical step was the Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam) where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in New Media.
