My name is Russell Hinckley and I'm from Sheffield in England, and since 1992 Iliving in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands.

From 2007 I followed courses at De Vrije Academie in Vlaardingen for about 5 years. Via the basic course drawing and painting I ended up with a preference for painting.

I started working in acrylic paint but pretty soon I discovered that I preferred painting in oil paint. Sometimes I experiment with different thicknesses and mix the paint…
