About the artwork

This artwork is part of our series of photographic collage works - Creatures. Creatures that were created through a composition of fragments, trysts and coincidences. The misfits that did not fit within the series we were working with at the time. The darlings we didn't want to kill.
This graceful figure was created during a session in which new figures emerged from combining forms. Intended to figure in various series of future artworks. This seahorse-like creature consists mainly of elements from music, such as the G clef. Hence, the title consists of the fusion of the Latin names for seahorse (Hippocampus) and music (Cantus).

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
