In the midst of Plitvice Lake's lush landscape, I chanced upon the vibrant Buphthalmum salicifolium, or ox-eye flower, casting a golden glow against the rich greenery. Its radiant yellow petals, reminiscent of a sunbeam, exuded a lively charm. Standing tall, with leaves resembling willow branches, it painted a picturesque scene in the Croatian wilderness. This ox-eye flower, a splash of yellow in the September breeze, added a touch of vivacity to the serene beauty of Plitvice's natural tapestry.
