About the artwork

A highlander in the Katwijk dunes, Katwijk aan zee.

Combining the violent sunset and my editing style, you get a nice gradient effect in this image.
This means it goes from light to dark or vice versa.
This guides the eye through the photo and makes it a pleasant image to look at.

In this photo, you can nicely see the details of the dune area and one of the inhabitants becomes a nice focal point.

This, like many other landscape photo's of mine, has been an unexpected photo.
Walking up the dune towards the beach and taking a quick look back to see if there was anything nice to see and yes, I got to capture this beautiful moment.

This image gives a very warm feeling and fits perfectly in warm and earthy-coloured interiors.

To look at this is very calming for me.
'Finding some peace in the evening in nature.
I am sure it will be a nice peaceful addition of nature and art in many interiors.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
