Old very much cuddled Teddy bear named 'Diedeltje'.
We bought this bear especially for our then newborn son.
Diedel was a real Steiff. Nice short light caramel colored fur. Brown glass eyes and an embroidered nose. A white tag with "Knopf I'm Ohr.

A major refurbishment followed. New hands and feet of red velvet and a new dress in a yellow and red plaid of thin cotton. Even this refurbishment proved inadequate as can be seen.
Today our son has children of his own and Diedel is safe under a glass bell jar.
