About ‘ONE SECOND CHEAP THRILL’ by Elwe

In this case as well, I combined Op Art with Pop Art, which in my opinion match well together and complement each other.
I hadn't actually planned a piece with a shark,
I experimented with optical effects and simply thought that with this pattern a shark would go very well. It also was a natural fit, as its contours alone make it easily recognizable as a shark, meaning I didn't have to completely ruin the optical effect. Unfortunately, the background isn't quite as optically effective as without the motif, but you can't have everything.
