The Noorderhaven in Groningen is still the last free port in the Netherlands, which means you can still dock your boat here as long as there is space.
Since 2010, only well-maintained historic ships are allowed to moor in the Noorderhaven, so it is a kind of museum, and worth seeing if you are in Groningen.
From the side where this photo was taken, with good weather, like today, you can also see the Martini Tower.
Walking from the Oosterpoort to the Noorderhaven you can continue over the bridge to the Damsterdiep and then further to the Kattendiep. Lots of diversity to see, and as a tourist and photographer interesting enough to look at.
Also from the bridge on the Noorderhaven you have a nice view.
