tea for two
"Tea for Two" is an acrylic painting in a contemporary square format hand-painted by the artist Karen Kaspar. It shows two white cups on an abstract chocolate-coloured background. The cups are decorated with small hearts, leaning towards each other and the steam from the hot tea forms a heart shape. However, the cups can just as easily be filled with coffee, espresso or mocha for a coffee party. For sweet chocolate lovers, I fill the cups with delicious hot chocolate.
Whatever you prefer - enjoy it together with a loved one.
This work, a combination of painting and haiku, is a joint project by Karen Kaspar (© art) and Marjolein Rotsteeg (© Haiku).
A haiku is a traditional Japanese poetry form consisting of three lines.
Here, the acrylic painting has been supplemented with the haiku in English. The painting is also available without text (see album 'Food').
You can find more paintings with haiku and poems in my albums 'Haiku and Painting English' and 'Haiku and Painting Dutch'. New works are constantly being added to the albums. So keep checking back from time to time!
