About ‘Mount Baker’ by Antwan Janssen

In the state of Washington, on the border with Canada, lies the North Cascades N.P. It seems to be the least visited national park in the U.S. Not rightly so but nice because you will indeed meet few others. It is not on a common tourist route but is definitely worth a detour. Part of the park is traversed by the North Cascades highway. The most spectacular part of the park, however, is the area in the far northwestern tip of the park around Mount Baker. Here you can make beautiful walks through a rugged landscape. However, you can really only visit this area from late July to late September, the rest of the year there is too much snow to make an extensive visit possible. This picture was taken at the end of July this year and then some walks were just open for hikers but you still had to walk through the snow. Other hikes were still closed because there was still too much snow.

As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
