About ‘Mother Swan in Paradise’ by Marjolein Deelen

A spot that makes the scene even more magical! A flowering bush hanging over the water and reflected in it; the mother swan just bobbing about there with her sleeping cygnets! A moment I’ll never forget – I’d already taken so many photo's of a family of swans, including this one, so the mother didn’t swim away from me, despite the dog sitting next to me – a familiar sight to her too! But the spot really made it perfect! Swans often stay a bit further out in the polder – as does this family – but they’re near some houses in the countryside, hence the flowering shrub! lucky me :-)
