About "More than half a tulip"

About the artwork

"More than half a tulip" is a photo of a tulip but with a separate crop. When taking this photo, I was looking for an image that for me we clearly "Tulip" radiates, but just makes it more exciting than a centrally placed tulip. After much trial and error and different shots, I arrived at this photo. The tulip is largely present, 3/4 of the time this flower is in the picture, but even though it is not completely in the picture, this does not bother me, on the contrary, it intrigues me. The colours and composition make it a calmly balanced picture, to my mind. Because I picked this tulip in a picking garden in North Holland, I cleaned the tulip well and waited until the leaves opened up a bit more. This allows the light to fall more beautifully through the petals. If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see how detailed the picture is.
Because of the depth of field I chose in this photo, the front part is sharp and the further back you go, the fainter the tulip becomes. This gives a sense of depth to the photo and at the same time creates a sense of calm.
This photo could, for example, hang beautifully as decoration in the bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa in the living room!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
