Moored in the harbor the ship empty at the quay.
The empty moored at the quay it is being made ready for departure from the port. The cargo is unloaded and the ship is cleaned and made ready for the voyage. What port will she go to what cargo will she get in her holds.
The rinse water from the foredeck falls along her hull back into the harbor. The splashes like diamonds sparkle in the sunlight. The hull battered by the traces of travel across the seas.
The bright colors the orange and the yellow and the sunlight gives a nice bright picture of the harbor. It accentuates the beautiful weather in the harbor. The beauty of the harbor's raw environment comes to life.
Raw and the harbor as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
