I have moved in with my studio, as a new tenant,
moved into the flat of "Irma la Douce".
The older ones among us may remember the film.
I removed the two chairs and then moved
moved into my studio.

When I was 20, I saw the Cote d'Azur.
It was a revelation for me.
From then on, I wanted to tell
about the beauty of this south.

I began to paint pictures. I wanted them to be cheerful and warm.
So warm, that was my intention,
that I was tempted to take off my shirt.

I have been working on my painting for half a lifetime now.
                                          "Essence of the European Mediterranean".
This painting is part of it.

I would never have found out without Google.
But I think I've painted a new style
painted a new style.
Nicely off the mark in relation to "les autres".
I find figurative staff painting
much more difficult than "digital painting".
Why? Digital painting has a very nice,
sharp sword. It is:
"Undo last step".
Oh in real life this option would be great!

I am actually a painter. After the classification,  a figurative and conceptual one. I probably paint my daydreams,  my image of the world,  my stories.
My digital painting style requires perseverance and discipline. Maybe that's why no one even comes close to..
