The Monte Baldo is an Italian mountain range which lies between the east shore of Lake Garda and the right bank of the Adige, in the northern regions of Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto.
The peaks of the Monte Baldo are the Altissimo (2078 m), the Pozzette (2218 m) and the Telegrafo (2200 m). The steep limestone slopes offer a varied face with meadows, forests, rocks, hills and valleys, scarlet stones, cypress trees, olive groves, vineyards, and some houses and a few small villages.
The Monte Baldo can be reached by car from Garda and with the cable car going up from Malcesine.
The flowers that bloom are referred to as the term "baldensoort".
