About "Metropolis Under the Stars"

About the artwork

"Metropolis Under the Stars" is a modern interpretation of Van Gogh's "Starry Night", in which the iconic swirls and twinkling stars unite over the silhouette of a contemporary city. It is a work that captures the vibrant energy of urban culture beneath a dancing cosmos, symbolising both the endless possibilities and humanity's puny place in the universe.

The skyline, with its towering buildings and glittering lights, is captured at a moment when evening falls and the sky comes alive with an explosion of colour. The reflection in the water doubles the beauty, creates a symmetry and brings a moment of calm to the hectic nature of the day.

In "Metropolis Under the Stars" I wanted to portray the power of the natural world over the man-made world, a reminder that above our greatest achievements there is still a greater spectacle taking place. It is a visual paean to the beauty of the night and the inspiration it can give us.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
