About "Maternal love: the bond between mare and foal"

About the artwork

As a photographer, I got to capture this intimate moment between a mare and her newborn foal. As I looked through the lens, I saw not just an animal interaction, but a pure and universal image of love and protection. The contact between mother and son, and the trust in the young animal's eyes, made this a special photograph.

I deliberately chose a black background to let all the attention go to the animals. This way, all the details - from the rich, warm colour of their coats to the light, unique markings on their heads - are fully highlighted. The calm lighting emphasises their natural beauty and the muscles visible under their skin, capturing their strength and vulnerability at the same time.

For me, this photo is a reminder of the special bond between mother and child, regardless of species. I hope this photo can find a place in an environment where, like me, it touches and inspires the viewer every time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
