About the artwork

How do you come up with an idea that is a question every artist wonders. When using artificial intelligence (Ai), it's slightly different again. You have to have the idea already visually in your mind, and be able to indicate this in text to the system you are using, and even then it will never become what you expect to see. You will therefore have to continue working with the basis, which comes into being after recalculating it many times, in graphic software.
And that is exactly what makes working with both techniques so interesting. In my case, I wanted to see what our Martini tower of Groningen would look like in a Steampunk style. Steampunk is in fact a derivative of the cyperpunk style, but that more focused on steam technology. In this case, I combined this with the commissioned vegetation, and I find the warm style this gives soothing and somewhat Victorian. To this, I often add some items that are completely different, but have the same colour balance.

Conceived by Harry Stok, visualized with AI.
