About ‘Malawi's mountains’ by Diana Stubbe

It is nearing the end of the day. It is starting to get dusky and the sun is blocked by the mountain. This photo has several layers. The first thing you see are the tea plantations with the fairly light leaves, then comes a darker green of trees and shrubs and to rise from there the mountains. Shadows are clearly visible on the mountains but also the greenery.

The photo was taken in Malawi the Mulanje area. Malawi has many types of landscapes. From Savannahs with severe drought to rivers from the mountains with an awful lot of greenery.

As friends of mine can say; ' This could have been Europe too. You don't have to go so far away'. And that is absolutely true. Nature and beautiful paintings are all around us. You just have to be able to see them.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
