About ‘Magical sunbeams - Wolfheze, Netherlands’ by Wandeldingen

On a winter morning, I wander across the moors and through the woods near Wolfheze. The sun is shining and the temperature is low. Leaves crunch under my walking shoes with every step I take.

Wolfheze is a mysterious place where time seems to stand still. People and animals have lived here for 12 centuries and there are trees older than five hundred years. Four babbling brooks create a fairytale feeling. My first acquaintance with this area was during the summer of 2022, when the moors turned purple and the forest was green. Now, during the misty days in the forest and the frost covering the heathland, I discover the mysterious side of Wolfheze.

Like the Speulder and Sprielder forest, the Wolfhezer forest is also full of history. The landscape is home to some 20 burial mounds that bear witness to ancient habitation. Painters from the Oosterbeek School captured the unique woods in the 19th century. The thousand-year-old pine and the mysterious Vodan's oaks are often the subject of their paintings.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
