The Forestry Commission boat ran aground half an hour ago. The water level is falling; the tide is going out.
We wait a while and then we can go on land. There is still a layer of water on the land. This gives a beautiful reflection of the beautiful sky.
This day gives us an idea of how beautiful nature is. What peace and quiet this uninhabited area brings.
The birds colour the surroundings with beautiful sounds. On the beach, no trace of man except our own footprints. The vegetation consists of salty plants and shrubs.
A day with the Forestry Commission is enjoyment. Unfortunately, access is limited. Therefore this photo, you can enjoy it all year round.
If you also want to join us on Rottumeroog, check out the Staatsbosbeheer site.
Hans de Waay - enjoying landscapes & the city
Landscapes are beautiful to hang on the wall. You get out. Lovely to look at and dream away.
I try to capture the most beautiful moments. Often on the edges of the day. In the morning or in the middle of the night.
Thank..
