London as we know it. How lucky to be able to take a picture of the London skyline with the warm of sunlight on the old city centre and the meandering river.
Differences iconic buildings of London can be seen in this panorama of the London skyline. Like the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, and via the River Thames, your eyes are led further to Canary Wharf. The characteristic red double-deck buses can also be seen riding over Tower Bridge.
This photo was taken from Observatory on the 72nd floor of the skyscraper The Shard. A building by architect Renzo Piano that is the tallest building in the United Kingdom. If you look closely, you can see the triangular shadow of this more than 309-metre-high building in the lower right.
The longer you look the more you start to see in this London skyline in the late afternoon sun.
